Job Description
Thinking EDU is seeking a Teacher Manager to lead our team of STEM Educators. In this role, you will oversee the educational programs, mentor teachers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. You will collaborate closely with the academic leadership team to enhance teaching practices, develop curriculum, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a team of STEM Educators, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to develop curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
- Monitor teacher performance, providing feedback to ensure high standards of teaching.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching practices.
- Lead professional development initiatives to enhance teacher skills and expertise in STEM education.
- Serve as a liaison between teachers, students, parents, and academic leadership to address educational needs and promote student success.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education, STEM-related field, or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience in managing a team of educators, preferably in an online or blended learning environment.
- Strong understanding of STEM education principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor teachers to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
