Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher Intern to join our team at Thinking EDU. This part-time position is ideal for current students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in online education. As an Assistant Teacher Intern, you will support our STEM Educators in delivering engaging lessons, assist with administrative tasks, and contribute to the overall success of our educational programs. This role offers valuable hands-on experience and the opportunity to learn from experienced educators in a dynamic online learning environment.
The position will have the following responsibilities:
- Assist STEM Educators in delivering engaging online lessons and activities.
- Support the preparation and organization of instructional materials.
- Monitor and assist students during online classes, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to students on assignments and projects.
- Help maintain online classroom platforms and tools.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and communication with students and parents.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving teaching practices and student engagement.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, STEM-related field, or a related area.
- Passion for education and a desire to support student learning and development.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and a willingness to learn new educational technologies.
